The manufacturing plant of Thaipharmed 1942 Co.,Ltd. is located in the company’s complex which occupies 3 acres of land in the Bangkok metropolitan area. The total space devoted to actual use for pharmaceutical manufacturing is close to 4,000 square meters within a series of connected buildings. More than a hundred employees are in charge for different responsibilities, from basic manufacturing tasks to quality control handled by a team of pharmacists. The manufacturing unit meets and exceeds the stringent requirements of GMP standards.

The company manufactures over-the –counter drugs (OTCs) as well as ethical drugs which comes in various dosage forms; such as tablets, capsules, solutions, suspensions, powders, creams and ointments. Raw materials, intermediates and finished products are quality-assured by a team of licensed pharmacists. As a part of the quality control department, the laboratory is fully equipped with qualified personnel and analytical apparatuses needed to assure highest quality standards. The well-accepted finished products seen in the market manufactured by Thaipharmed 1942 Co.,Ltd. are the achievements of well-trained personnel, physical facilities, and company’s policy on manufacturing only products at their bests. As a result of top management’s policy in pursuing for excellence, the company has a strong track record of receiving the certificate of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) by the FDA in all aspects of pharmaceutical production licensed since the first year of issuance.

Penicillin unit |
Since 1990, a separate unit has been constructed to manufacture penicillin products. The plant is equipped with HEPA filters and well trained personnel to ensure cross contamination of penicillin to other products and to the environment. As a result, the penicillin unit has been GMP certified by the FDA since its inception.

Health and Safety Management |
To ensure the well-being of our employees, health and safety management systems have been implemented in the manufacturing plant. Moreover, a certified Health and Safety Management officer is in place to ensure that injuries in the workplace are minimal.

Environment |
Our value of operating business with integrity leads to various activities concerning safety to the environment. All chemical waste, air pollution, and any other industrial waste are treated to ensure that only environmental friendly substances are released back to the environment.
